The Talks

"Bardsey and Beyond". The Mascall Centre. Ludlow. Friday 6th February 2026. Tickets £3.50 on the door

I present lectures and talks to disseminate my findings from the research tours.

They can be to any audience, and I am more than happy to speak to two, twenty or two hundred people.

In addition, I deliver an annual lecture to celebrate World Soil Day on 5th December.

Last year, it included a panel discussion with guests from Cardiff University, Herefordshire Meadows and ‘Wiggly Wigglers’.

This year, I will be visiting Bishop Burton College in Beverley, where I will run a dorodango* ball–making workshop.

From moth trapping to mistletoe, tree identification and beyond, I cover all aspects of orchard ecology; although I am never happier than when I can talk about butterflies, solitary bees and bumblebees – the root of my passion for orchards.

If you would like me to speak to your group and/or run a workshop, please feel free to get in touch using the contact details below.
